Job Description:

Successful candidates must have 18 - 24 months Offshore Project Engineering Experience, and 5- 8 years of Drilling Fluids Specialist experience, and Shelf experience highly desired. Deepwater experience a plus.  
Must have extensive experience and knowledge in the area of drilling fluids application, servicing and environmental regulations included but not limited to measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.  Thorough understanding of customer requirements, ability to use skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development, competency with MS Office software and business unit proprietary software, and ability to plan, forecast material requirement and generate cost proposals.  Excellent  verbal and written communication skills.

Desired candidate promotes, sells and directs company systems and technologies within the assigned account(s), performs risk analysis on technical programs.  Serves as the primary liaison between the customer and the organization, coordinates and supervises the day to day execution of the services and the relevant personnel at the rig site, monitors daily progress of job(s) or project(s), provides extensive technical guidance and work direction to field staff and customers, performs pre and post job evaluations, processes paperwork, monitors invoicing, directs bidding, pricing proposals and reviews contracts.
