Overview:
Memorial Resource Development LLC is an oil and gas exploration and production company located in Downtown Houston.  Due to rapid company growth, Memorial is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:
• Support Petroleum Engineering (Reservoir) technical professionals engaged with fast paced reservoir subsurface studies related to acquisition activity
• Support Petroleum Engineering staff working on Development Opportunities within existing assets
• Support engineering staff working on MRD's SEC reserve reports
• Experience in working comfortably with computer based petroleum engineering oriented software such as Aries and PHD Win
• Maintaining and updating corporate data stores associated with such related items as PVT reports, well log data, production history
• Document and present work products
• Apply and share best practices
• Coaching and mentoring less experienced staff
• Ensure that the team members have the required products delivered on time in a complete and technically correct manner
• Develop skills regarding pertinent software applications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Firm understanding of engineering principles
• Able to take instructions from petroleum engineering professionals
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a timely manner
• Dedicated, self-starter able to engage effectively with a team of a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with imperfect data
• Possession of strong inter-personal and technical skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Interest in other disciplines and drive to learn/apply new skills and techniques

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years' industry experience
• Proficient in Aries software, PHD Win, and MS Office Suite
