Drilling Engineer

Job Description:

• Well designs for vertical, directional and horizontal wells
• Hydraulics optimization and bit selection
• Drill string, casing and cementing designs
• Rig and equipment specifications
• Daily drilling operations
• Problem well analysis and troubleshooting
• Provide operational support when needed
• Cost estimates and AFE preparation
• Cost and Drilling efficiency tracking and reporting
• Interface with regulatory agencies as needed

Qualifications:

• BS degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering
• 8-15 years drilling Engineering experience
• Technical and operational experience in horizontal and directional drilling
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with PC based computer applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing demands
