CH2M Hill Instrumentation & Controls Design Technician Careers - Calgary, Alberta
Work as a Lead I&C Engineer or Technologist for an Alliance team focusing on conventional oil and gas projects in Western Canada. Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Instrument specification and completion of datasheets
Wiring and loop diagrams
Inter-disciplinary co-ordination and support
P&ID review and development
Cause and effect diagram review and development
Ability to work on multiple small projects at the same time
Attributes, Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of instrumentation and ability to specify suitable instruments
Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
Knowledge of wiring related to instrumentation and controls
Automation and programming knowledge is an asset
Stron interpersonal and communication ability
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Up to date safety tickets (First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS, H2S Alive)
Experience working on conventional oil and gas projects in Western Canada
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
