Project Delivery
Assemble and lead the Project Team
Allocate resources where appropriate to achieve project safety, schedule, cost, scope, and quality objectives
Working with team resources, develop and manage the Project Execution Plan to deliver the highest value to CH2M HILL and our clients
Manage and drive multidiscipline project delivery; ensure compliance with overall project objectives
Evaluate material and construction bids
Assess the strength and capability of company resources and deploy multi-disciplinary resources, often from multiple delivery centers, to deliver the highest value to our CH2M HILL and our clients
Manage competing demands, accept critics and constructive feedback while being extremely adaptable and flexible
Lead the identification of variances from plan; develop solutions and initiate corrective actions
Evaluate and report project performance to management and client representatives and stakeholders
Act as primary spokesperson to represent the company in scope, schedule, and financial commitments and performance to client representatives.
Financial
Complete and maintain project financial records
Lead project team in major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions
Understand and manage the impact of project delivery on overall bottom line business performance
Business Development
Develop and manage relationships with client capital project managers and stakeholders
Lead the development and management of project proposals
Management
Manage team of Project Management professionals to deliver desired project and financial outcomes
Act as mentor for developing Project Management personnel, through both formal and informal mentoring relationships.
Basic Qualifications
15+ years project management experience on large Upgrading EPCM projects, with demonstrated successful record working in an Engineering and Construction consulting environment
5 - 7 years demonstrated successful record in management of Refining and/or Bitumen Upgrading projects
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Registered P.ENG with APEGA
Desired Qualifications
Certified PMP
Demonstrated Construction and Construction Management experience
Operating Company experience
