My client requires a Project Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Sales-order-to-project completion ownership of all assigned orders/projects.
-Controls project requirements, scope, delivery and change management issues.
-Coordinates internal business areas to ensure fluid execution of customer orders.
-Works closely with sales, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, field operations, and the client to ensure delivery expectations are clearly defined, are being met, and any required actions are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
-Interfaces directly with customers to ensure work scope is understood, delivery schedules are developed and maintained, and customer expectations are met.
-Works closely with the Sales Representative and Field Operations Coordinator to facilitate definition of the work scope, goals, and deliverables.
-Works closely with Field Operations Coordinator to ensure all installation schedules are up to date and resource loading is appropriate.
-Involves developing a project schedule, tracking and reporting progress, and resolving issues to assure on-schedule delivery.
-Manages change orders throughout the project and ensures proper fees for various goods and services are billed and collected.
-Utilizes ''Salesforce'' and the Infor ERP systems to ensure information is kept current throughout the order delivery process.
-Maintains order status reports and communicates status of orders regularly to all stakeholders.
-Provides regular and consistent project updates and status reports relating to all active sales and/or purchase orders.
-Collects and disseminates customer feedback information and ensures follow up to improve perception.
-Develops/directs correspondence and reports as necessary to communicate effectively with the clients during the project planning and execution phases.
-Prepares order/project close-out summaries and other summary documents as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Extensive knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
-Proven experience in project management including people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
-Strong health and safety emphasis with focus on keeping all appropriate certifications current.
-Computer proficiency in programs such as Excel, MS Word, Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) with preference for Mechanical or Civil (Structural) Engineering or Construction Management plus three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
