RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for the overall performance of the company's onshore operations
-Drive customer satisfaction through project performance, knowledge, and relationship management
-Manage the development of the onshore operations group for product applications
-Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the onshore operations team
-Assure effective integration of onshore activities with other functions
-Responsible for safe day-to-day operations with a strong focus on achieving the company's goals
-Manage development of Field Operations procedures, processes, systems, and documentation
-Assure HSEQ requirements are upheld.
-Develop budgets, cost control methods, and execution plans to deliver agreed results
-Manage relationships with vendors, clients, and business partners and attend meetings as company representative.
-Conduct routine inspections and/or audits for all activities, produce reports, and follow up on actions as appropriate to assure company needs are met.
-Travel as necessary to support field operations, customer meetings, and supplier evaluations.
-Ensure a ''Safety First'' attitude is emphasized in all activities and communications.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Effective leadership, organizational and communication skills focused on team building and achieving commitments within the needs of the client and company.
-Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
-Possess a strong working knowledge of onshore pipeline construction procedures, standards, and specifications and how they are to be correctly applied.
-Familiar with onshore pipeline operational and support entities including equipment and service providers as well as end users and operators.
-High technical ability required including:
-Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, drawings, regulatory documents
-Write professional quality technical reports
-Respond, as a technical expert, to technical questions from colleagues, management and designers.
-Ability to effectively present information and communicate at all levels in a constructive manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Civil (Structural) Engineering, plus three to seven years related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Pipeline and/or Petroleum production system onshore construction experience
-Knowledge of onshore pipeline construction processes including material specifications, installation methods, support equipment, and services.
-Understanding of computer systems as they relate to project management, technical documentation, system modeling, equipment design, data analysis, and file maintenance.
Registration as a Professional Engineer preferred.
