Rotating schedule of 7-3 and 2:30 - 10:30
Seeking an experienced CNC Premium Threading Operator for its Tubular Threading and Inspection Services facility in Houston, Texas.

Duties: Follow work instructions on Work Order, read understand and apply  applicable customer procedures, identify tooling needed for setting up CNC lathe on API and premium threads without supervision, set up all CNC lathes on API and premium threads, understand programming codes, make program offests as needed, and modify program as needed, set up and effectively use gauges needed on API and premium threads, interpret premium product drawings, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Able to set up Okuma, Mazak and Mori NZL on API premium threads, proficient with Mazak and Fanuc controls, proficient with programming codes, ability to do offsets programs (lead, feed, speed, tooling stations, block changes), ability to trouble shoot issues arising from set up or operation, able to read and interpret premium product drawings, use and read all applicable gauges, able to make molds with repro rubber and interpret results, etc.

Experience, Training and Education: Minimum one year CNC experience with oil field connections, CNC Operator Certificate preferred but not required. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to pass assessment test required.

Work Environment:

The job is within a heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the mill. Dependent upon the area you will work in, the environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.

The position requires you to work rotating shifts, which will include Saturdays and Sundays. The position also requires you to work overtime as needed.

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hard hat, goggles, hearing protection, and protective clothing and work boots with metatarsal protection. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere.
