PLC Software Engineer (inTouch or HMI plus)

The ideal candidate will transforms customer specifications into data acquisition and control software for oil and gas metering systems. Relocation available. Requires some international travel (20%).

EDUCATION: BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
EXPERIENCE: Two to seven years relevant experience applying working principles within assigned technical field.
SKILLS: Experience in programming PLC's, and experience in real-time software development.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: HMI package (Intouch) familiarity and working knowledge of network (TCP/IP) and communication (MODBUS, OPC) protocols is a plus.
OTHER: Knowledge of API standards is desired.
PRODUCE SYSTEM MANUFACTURING DOCUMENTS:

1. Review, interpret & implement customer specs.
2. Produce design diagrams and calculations.
3. Create drawing list.
4. Prepare material requisitions.
5. Prepare system bills of material.
6. Finalize design details.
7. Maintain schedule.
8. Maintain cost to complete.
9. Interface with project manager, Q.A. and Test, manufacturing, Purchasing.
