Looking for 'A' operators for offshore GOM production platforms, operating out of Abbeville, LA and Beaumont, TX
● 3-5 years experience (minimum) as 'A' operator
● familiar with SEMS, compliance and regulatory requirements
● be able to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and required testing
● computer skills to complete daily reports, update/maintain online systems
Applicant should have minimum 3-5 years experience working as 'A' operator, regulatory compliance and SEMS knowledge, be able to operate production facilities without supervision, and be able to supervise personnel.
Responsible for maintenance, testing, and inspections as required, daily production and monthly reports, online reporting systems.
Responsible for testing, repairs, and maintenance of facility, wells, production equipment, safety equipment and devices, measurement equipment, and rotating equipment - wellhead to sales line. Will monitor wells performance and production equipment including calculating daily/hourly rates, well testing, production reports, and process materials shipping and receiving.
Applicant should be able to swing on/off platform to/from boat using swing rope, ride personnel basket, climb or descend several flights of stairs or ladders throughout the day, lift up to 75 pounds and capable of carrying 75 pounds for short distances, repair or replace production equipment such as valves, piping, hatch covers, miscellaneous parts, torque/tighten bolts, nuts, equipment with hand tools or power tools using significant force, put on safety equipment and or inclement weather apparel as needed, including PFD's, harnesses, PPE, etc, perform general duties such as scrubbing, mopping skids, cleaning and washing down with high pressure pumps and hose, squeegees, brooms, brushes, buckets, etc.
