Position Title: Environmental Engineer
Location: Freeport, Texas

The Environmental Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
Provides technical support to the operations and maintenance staffs in the area of environmental regulatory compliance/engineering and ensures the completion of all applicable governmental and corporate regulatory requirements
Will need to have a thorough understanding of TCEQ, EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations
Oversee environmental, air, water, and waste initiatives
Ensure that proper operating permits are current
Inspect all environmental areas and manage corrective actions
Will participate in ISO 9001 and 14001 quality Audits
Conduct annual environmental reports
Travel to different plant locations throughout the year
Must have a BS degree in Safety, Chemical or another related field
Must have at least 3 years of related experience in the Environmental and Safety industry
Requires a thorough knowledge of Texas and Federal environmental regulations and their applicability
Ability to prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner
Must be able to travel p to 20% of the time to other plants in the US
