APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST - SHAREPOINT
HOUSTON, TEXAS

Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage horizontal fracturing and we provide technology-based solutions to the oil and gas industry around the world. We are looking for an Applications Support Analyst - SharePoint in our northwest Houston office.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Operations support of core applications, with a focus on SharePoint
• Log and track customer issues
• Manage incidents in accordance with predefined Service Level Agreements
• Participate in developing and maintaining an auditable, standardized, repeatable process for Production Application/IT Support
• Identify risks and develop solutions for application/IT operations within the target environment
• Assist with defining operational processes and methodologies
• Review and test configuration of application products (releases, product changes, service packs, and critical fixes prior to distribution), administer security patches, and support customers on complex technical issues
• Assist with identification and definition of application deployment/release/migration management including checklists, deployment procedures and requirements

Educational Requirements

• Degree, diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Application Support Analyst or programming background

Competencies, Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of programming/scripting

• Experience with Windows platforms including configuration
• Good understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) Server database management systems
• Understanding of web technology
• InfoPath form creation, editing, debugging
• Understanding of interaction of Web Services and InfoPath
• Proven experience with the following SharePoint tasks
o SharePoint Designer Workflow creation, editing, debugging
o Server configuration
o Server log evaluation
o Configuring and evaluating security
o Customizing master pages and layouts
• Client-focused and support orientated with calm and positive attitude
• Highly analytical with strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong sense of urgency with a good ability to prioritize within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent English language communication skills  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
