Senior Drilling Engineer

I am working closely with a Houston based International Drilling Manager to find a talented Senior Drilling Engineer to join his highly motivated team of technical experts in 2013 and play a key part in a range of interesting projects in a rewarding environment.

The company is among the largest independent E&P companies in the world and they are recognized as a premier deepwater producer in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as producing in Alaska, Algeria, and Ghana with additional exploration opportunities in West Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, South Africa, New Zealand and China.

After establishing a strong team, the company have a strong need to bring a Senior Drilling Engineer on board to plan international wells from their US office. Although there is a flexible structure in place, the company are looking for the Engineer to transition into short term term rotational assignments during project execution.

The role offers a great opportunity to utilize the experience of a talented Drilling Engineer who is looking to have a greater exposure of challenging international assignments whilst working in a more refreshing, less bureaucratic and process driven environment.

Required Experience -

- Degree in Petroleum Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
- 10-15 years experience in Drilling Engineering with a leading operating company/renowned independent company
- Strong background of deepwater operations (GoM and international)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team in a high-performance environment as well as the ability to work successfully with a range of external partners
