Job Description:



  • Experience in managing capital project budgets of multi billion dollar range.
  • Experience in area(s) of deepwater, LNG, and/or petrochemicals.
  • Previous relevant (Oil/Gas/Engineering) experience in leading and driving the development and implementation of category strategies and managing a category portfolio that delivers value in line with business strategy.
  • Has practical experience in process mapping across an end to end supply chains, across multiple geographies and through multiple tiers.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
  • Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree preferred. Minimum of twenty (20) years experience in contracts, procurement, supply chain, logistics, project management, engineering, managing contractors or other contract related matters.
  • Prioritize demanding workload; able to develop effective plans for meeting required timelines. Ability to cope with complexity and uncertainty and make sound business decisions.
  • Possess outstanding team work abilities and capabilities. Proven record of working with internal and external cross functional teams to ensure business alignment. Understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, taxation and commercial issues. Ability to communicate issues, concerns and solutions to senior level of management internally and externally.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CP in a major project context. Detail knowledge of project drivers in capital projects.
  • Creative thinker capable of developing innovative solutions and a motivated self-starter with a track record of delivery. Working in collaboration with appropriate Global C&P Category Teams to ensure development and implementation of category plans and C&P strategies to optimize value for the business.
  • Experience of working in frontier project environments. Deep understanding of C&P governance, process and systems, and the ability to provide leadership across organizational boundaries in regulatory and ethical matters.
  • High level of industry knowledge, and understanding of Group's position in the market and how to maximize competitive advantage. Possesses strong commercial acumen, creativity, clarity of communication, and conceptual thinking ability.
