Mechanical Lifting and Hoisting Specialist

Duco Energy Services, LLC is an independent consulting firm providing technical safety and risk management solutions to the oil and gas community.  Duco is currently seeking a Mechanical Lifting and Hoisting Specialist that can demonstrate expertise in the following areas, for both onshore and offshore exploration and/or production fields.
 

• Ability to conduct mechanical integrity inspections of various types of cranes, forklifts, mechanical lifting devices, and lifting gear.
• Ability to conduct gap analysis of client lifting and hoisting procedures against industry standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ability to participate in audits and inspections, as a part of a team, to provide expertise in lifting operations and verify implementation of sound lifting practices on site.  
• Ability to develop and communicate sound lifting and hoisting procedure and safe work practices in regards to management system development.

Desired Skills

• Some college required, Bachelors degree preferred.
• Certified API RP2D Crane Operator and Rigger
• Valid certificate in either SafeGulf or SafeLand
• For Offshore assignment, must have valid HUET/Water Survival or BOSIET and valid TWIC card
• Valid US Passport
• A minimum of 8 years crane operations experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a Deck or Lifting Foreman.
