Chronos Consulting's client is global B2B service organization with over 65,000 employees worldwide and positioned for aggressive expansion via strategic acquisition and organic growth. We are seeking a seasoned people manager, entrepreneurial leader with exceptional communications skills to drive an executive leadership team in Canada in corporation with senior management based in the USA and internationally. The Canadian business employs over 2000 and this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to work in an international environment, to be responsible for a Coast to Coast business, to include the Oil Sands region.
Due to the diversity of this business, a background in industrial or oil & gas services sectors is preferred.
Reporting to the President of North America, you will be responsible for:
Leadership, insight, and coaching to maintain organization's value proposition both to its customers and employees ( around 2000 staff with 15 direct reports)
Create and support optimal structure to deliver growth and profitability and prepare annual budget and short/long term business plans that are complete,attainable and consistent with the goals and objectives of the Business.
Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status.
Forecast volume and pricing to ensure financial projections are accurate and Operations can perform optimal planning.
Take an active role in the acquisition process by recommending potential targets and involvement in negotiations.
Create and support a rewarding work environment that encourages individual growth and development
Develop and drive strong teams to help support and drive the business and be able to make tough decisions with management when needed.
Build open foundation of current organization and develop and execute the Business's continued growth strategy.
Assure the integrity and ethical operation of the organization and oversee company operations to insure efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management resources.
Serve as an Officer of the Company and represent the Business to key customers and the financial community.
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Engineering. MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of direct operations and management experience in a B2B services company (background in industrial, oil & gas sector sectors preferred)
Proven track record of managing experienced team including:coaching, developing staff, monitoring performance.
Demonstrated experience in building new business and / or extending services into new markets by building strong client relationships.
Strategic mind set, positive attitude and collaborative approach to problem solving for win / win solutions with peer team members, management and customers.
Acquisition experience would be valuable alongside strong P&L knowledge.
Effective communication and leadership ability coupled with strong negotiation skills.
