Geoscience Technologist

A Geoscience Technologist is needed in an international energy company with major assets in the Canadian Oil Sands on a 1 year contract role. Hays Oil & Gas is pleased to partner with our client - an established world player in Oil & Gas with an extensive and growing resource base. With this company operating world class heavy oil properties in the early stages of development and production using SAGD, you will be ideally situated at the forefront of an expanding in-situ bitumen extraction program.

As a core member of the development team, your role will involve frequent collaboration and interaction with joint venture and industry partners. Strong communication, teamwork and a positive attitude are assets to the company and this position. A track record of critical 2D and 3D visualisation, data manipulation, software problem solving and positive participation in a team environment are skills you will need to be successful in this position. You will have a subsurface technical diploma minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
