Our client a leading Subsea Engineering company specialise working within Integrity Management on various Subsea systems for the offshore oil and gas industry. They have offices in many of the major offshore hubs such as Houston, Aberdeen, London and Perth.
A new position has arisen in the Houston office for an integrity engineering specialist, the successful candidate will work within a team responsible for the development and execution of integrity management for Subsea equipment, Umbilicals, risers and flowlines utilised in oil and gas production systems.
Primary responsibilities are:
*Act as discipline expert in the field of integrity management for Subsea
*Liaising with clients and engineers for coordinating integrity activities
*Input into and technical review of risk-based integrity assessment.
*Development of inspection work packages and techniques.
*Technical review of inspection findings and comment on inspection reports.
*Identification, assessment, and categorization of anomalies and other integrity issues.
*Review and assessment of key performance indicators (KPI).
*Review and comment on condition assessment reports and fit-for-service assessments.
*Provide recommendations for ongoing integrity management mitigations including identification of new technology.
*Ensuring continuous adherence with relevant codes & standards including industry best practices.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate integrity management func-tions.
*Bachelors or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, ocean engineering, or a related disci-pline.
*A solid understanding of offshore oil and gas facilities; especially subsea equipment (Trees, UTAs, PLET/PLEM, Manifolds), umbilicals, risers, and flowlines.
*7 to 10 years relevant industry experience in the offshore industry, including integrity assurance activities and verification processes.
*A good understanding of maintenance/inspection practices and techniques including NDT.
*A good understanding of risk assessment methods, asset integrity processes, qualitative and quantitative criticality studies, FMECA and root cause analysis.
*A detailed working knowledge of codes and standards including applicable state and federal regulations.
*Knowledgeable in the processes of risk-based integrity assessment, subsea monitoring sys-tems, and pigging.
*Engineering experience with any of; structural strength and fatigue analysis, flow assurance, cathodic protection, and corrosion.
*Adept in continuous appraisal and improvement of processes.
*Engineering experience in both an office and an operational capacity is a plus.
*Professional Engineer, Chartered engineer or equivalent is a plus.
