Instrument Mechanic  

Coast Industrial Services is currently hiring Journeyman Instrument Mechanic with 3-5 years of pulp or paper mill experience.  Located in beautiful British Colombia this position is a permanent full time position.  The successful candidate must install, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, automation and control systems.

Coast Industrial Services is a full service contractor with branches in British Columbia, Alberta and Chile. Coast supplies Skilled Trade's personnel for our clients in Western Canada; we recruit from Canada, USA, Chile, Peru, Philippines, Australia and UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have Journeymen/Women ticket
Must have 3-5 years pulp or paper experience
Independent self-starter
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of process based industrial equipment
Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, automation and control systems
Improved quality and efficiency

Compensation and Work Location:

Work Location:  Vancouver Island, BC
Wage:  Dependent on the level of experience and certification
