Job Description:

Houston Oil and Gas Company is currently seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer with strong financial and business acumen to lead and navigate, along with the rest of the senior management team, the company through a rapid growth and expansion.
Reporting to the CEO, the COO will primarily be responsible for ensuring that the company's systems and operational infrastructure can support outstanding execution of current programs, guide its continued growth and expansion as well as, ensure the company's leading position among its competitors. An individual in this position should possess strong management skills, a strong financial background, an understanding of what it takes to scale a company, and the ability to define/implement processes across our various operational functions that are necessary to sustain continued growth, in a multi-location environment.

Responsibilities:
Oversee regional operations to ensure the timely commencement and execution of work for our clients and actively engage in relationship management to ensure service quality is exceptional; maintain a service group for installation and maintenance of trailers and equipment.

Participate in the development & implementation of training programs for clients and staff including practices, procedures, processes and scope of supply as necessary; work with the executive team to provide key guidance and tools that enable improvement of operational procedures necessary for efficient management of the existing operational personnel & equipment infrastructures while supporting company expansion.

Maintain an operations management team that proactively engages our field employees and ensures our safety, technical training, compensation and payroll are competitively executed.

Manage all company operations, day-to-day and long term; provide financial analysis relating to overall operational performance and growth opportunities; develop/document procedure manuals for all key operational processes, including operational process/data flow charts, within and across functions.

Reporting/analysis, including business intelligence for internal (management) requirements, as well as client facing requirements; prioritization of projects, based on input from the President, financial analysis of revenue and costs; and assessment of impact on client satisfaction.

Guide acquisitions or the development of foreign/new foreign offices; oversee regional operations to ensure the timely commencement & execution of work for our clients and actively engage in relationship management to ensure service quality is exceptional.

Possess strong financial and analytic skills; responsibility for setting operational strategy in a competitive business; excellent communication and management skills; manage client communications for all ongoing projects.


• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• A minimum of 15-20 years relevant experience in managing and providing formation evaluation or similar oilfield services business.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Highly organized and directed leader
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
• Ability to balance the need for operational efficiency with nimbleness and innovation and represent the company from an operational perspective.
