We are currently seeking a Senior Production Engineer in our Minot, ND office
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
•Assist District Superintendent with technical aspects of well work, artificial lift, chemical programs, and facilities
•Supervise monitoring of well performance with TOW/ARIES/DSS and optimize production and artificial lift
•Support planning and occasional supervision of frac jobs working with completions group in Dallas
•Mentor and support junior engineers and field operations personnel
•Coordinate recommendations for well optimization with Dallas reservoir engineers
Knowledge/Experience:
•Engineering BS degree or higher with 10+ years of operations/production experience.
•Artificial lift experience (rod pump, gas lift, ESP)
•Field based production background
•Computer literacy a must, proficiency with ARIES/DSS/TOW & Wellview a plus
•Cost conscience
Skills:
•Must exhibit strong leadership skills, self-motivated, proactive, punctual, and safety minded
•Computer competency and able to work with MS Word, Excel etc. and various technical software
•Knowledge of DOH and EPA rules and regulations - North Dakota Industrial Commission a plus
•Ensure contract operations personnel are observing all safety/environmental rules and regulations
•Solid communication and presentation skills
•Capable of preparing AFE's for production, construction, and work over operations
