SBM Atlantia is currently recruiting for a Senior Marine Systems Engineer.
The basic responsibility of the Senior Marine Systems Engineer is to oversee the engineering design, specification, purchase and installation of the hull marine systems.
The Senior Marine Systems Engineer will ensure the marine systems designed are conforming to regulatory, class rules, SBM's quality system and procedures.
Responsibilities also include ensuring the timely delivery and commissioning of the systems and equipment and oversees the appropriate documentation of the design, data and information reports for regulatory submittal.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Ocean, or Mechanical) with preference given to candidates having an advanced degree.
In addition, candidates should have 10 years of offshore (upstream) oil & gas industry experience and strong knowledge of classification society, statutory, and industry standard compliance.
Strong technical, analytical and structural evaluation skills. Ability to manage cost controls and evaluate engineering designs.
