Analysis Engineer

Summary:
The Product Engineer will support product development, proposals, and project
execution activities. This position will participate in the development of next generation higher temperature and pressure products, conduct riser system and finite element analysis, end fitting design, ancillary equipment selection and interface with Customers in providing technical support for projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles all aspects of engineering design work
• Conducts pipe cross section design / analysis for proposals and projects
• Designs products to meet Customer requirements
• Performs FFRP pipe design and stress analysis in accordance with: o API 1 7J, API 1 7B, DNV OS C501 Internal procedures and pipe design software
• Conducts Riser System configuration and riser and flowline system installation analysis
• Designs end fittings in accordance with industry standard methodology
• Specifies ancillary equipment and review drawings
• Prepares Bills of Material, and implements engineering change notices as needed

Qualifications:

• BSc in Mechanical or Structural Engineering. Higher level degree is preferred.
• 3 years relative experience required
• Working knowledge of Finite Element analysis software (ABAQUS/ANSYS) is required and working knowledge of OrcaFlex is preferred
• SURF experience is preferred
• Knowledge and experiences with composite materials are preferred
