Offshore Operations Manager

Responsible for the development and execution of the offshore operations team. The primary focus is on managing effective installations of FlexSteel pipelines in shallow water markets. This leadership position requires development of installation capabilities including equipment, personnel and procedures. Manage the development of the offshore operations group for marine applications of FlexSteel products. Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the offshore operations team. Responsible for safe day-to-day operations with a strong focus on achieving the company's goals. Management development of Field Operations procedures, processes, systems, and documentation. Develop goals and objectives, oversee execution and assure HSEQ requirements are upheld. Develop budgets, cost control methods, and execution plans to deliver agreed results.
Conduct routine inspections and/or audits for all activities, produce reports, and follow-up on actions as appropriate to assure company needs are met. Travel as necessary to support field operations, customer meetings and supplier evaluations.

Strong working knowledge of shallow water pipeline installation procedures, standards and specifications and how they are to be correctly applied. Familiar with shallow water operational and support entities including equipment and service providers as well as end users and operators.

B.S. in Mechanical or Civil (Structural) Engineering, 3-7 years related management experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pipeline and/or Petroleum production system offshore construction experience. Knowledge of offshore pipeline construction processes including material specifications, installation methods support equipment design, data analysis and file maintenance.
