We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to work for a major downstream operator in Houston, TX
Responsibilities would include:
- Planning for Phase IV quality requirements and activities
- Preparation of EPC bid packages
- Preparation of requisitions for Long Lead Items
- QA/QC support for FEED activities
- Petrochemical downstream is the key here due to industry's fairly common approach to project execution, safety, standards/specifications, and procedures.
- Candidate would need to be conversant in quality challenges of large cap projects (USGC Petrochemicals is $5B).
- Our project involves an ethylene cracker unit, 2 polyethylene units, a pipeline expansion, Storage in Transit rail services, and supporting buildings.
- Detailed Engineering may be overseas and would require locating with selected contractor during this phase.
- Construction will be in Texas Gulf Coast area.
