HSEQ Manager

This position will lead HSEQ function of a large Offshore Service management business having worldwide operations of Jack Up Accommodation Rigs and will be based in Ajman UAE.

Key Result Area
Primary responsibility of this role is to promote safe work culture in the organization through implementation of Safe Management System and ensure compliance with ISM codes, Flag state regulations and other Statutory requirements governing HSE aspects of offshore business.

Other tasks include the following-
Ensure that offshore rigs have up to date certification for technical, safety and Flag/Class
Investigate accidents / incidents, submit findings with recommendations and initiate corrective actions
Develop & implement Quality processes to get business accredited under relevant Quality Organization -  ISO 9000 / ISO 140000 and ensure compliance
Environment management - Compliance with relevant statues and manage on-board systems to prevent harm to the environment
Supervise and lead a team HSE professionals both onshore and offshore

Experience, Competence, Skills

5 years of experience managing QHSE functions of large Offshore Marine business
Experience in implementing Quality systems
NEBOSH or equivalent certification
Marine safety knowledge desirable
Strong IT skills with good experience in working with MS Office packages
OIM or Master Mariner Competency certificates ( desirable)
