Senior Field Engineer - Cased Hole Completions

1.The Senior Field Engineer (SFE) is responsible for the successful installation of Weatherford Completion (Packers, SSSVs, Flow Control, Sand Screens etc) Equipment.  The installation will be performed directly by the jobholder.

2. Should be all able to perform all field operations/reporting individually and with no supervision.

3.Will  demonstrate, through assessment and internal interactions, full understanding of equipment, systems and functionality, hydraulics and down-hole calculations.

4.Supervise the on-site rig crew, to ensure correct equipment handling during installation.

5.Maintain appropriate contact with client customer representative at the well site and ensure that Well-Systems Engineers/Operations are continually updated on current job status. Produce in depth reports, according to WCT Standards of all well site activities prior to and during installation.

6.Responsible for identifying and documenting any Risk Assessment, associated with performing field operations in a timely manner ahead or performing the said field operation.

7.Responsible for the Safety, Integrity and Security of all equipment used or delivered for field operations, also responsible for ensuring all equipment is returned and any damages or shortages reported to the Company Rep and PE prior to back-loading and shipment.

8.When arriving onsite the SFE is responsible for ensuring that all equipment for installation in the Well is inspected/checked and where practical all Weatherford and /or 3rd party interfaces are rechecked in a timely manner ahead of Rig Floor operations and any shortcomings are reported. Also to ensure that all documentation and/ or certification is relative to equipment.

9.Responsible for all field operation reporting, including daily reports and end of job reporting.

10.Promote WCT's good name through customer interaction and a professional approach to the job in hand - fostering good relations for continued business.

Min Qualifications : Engineering degree or Equivalent qualification

Yrs of Experience :  7-8 years of experience , with a minimum 5 years experience in the  field installation of well completions

Personality Trait   :  Must possess demonstrated Supervisory and  effective communication Skills,  with an ability to lead in a team environment, as well as an ability to work independently and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems
