Drilling Engineer - Residential - Malaysia

SPD Malaysia are currently seeking a staff Drilling Engineer to join our well respected team of professionals in our Kuala Lumpur offices. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience across a variety of operations such as HPHT, deep-water, development and exploration drilling.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Degree qualified
• Experience in undertaking technical studies
• IWCF Subsea Supervisors Well Control Certificate Holder
• Experience in well design, planning, programming and AFE development
• Knowledge of industry best practices associated with drilling
• Understanding of casing design and well control techniques
• Ability to use industry standard well engineering software packages beneficial (e.g. Landmark StressCheck, WellCat, WellPlan, Compass, etc)
