Job Title: Landman - Anchorage

The Role:
Staff Landman
Located: Anchorage, AK

Duties include but not limited to:

• Responsibility for all region land functions within a geographic area working on a team with a geologist, geophysicist, and reservoir engineer.
• Lead and direct the research of courthouse records to determine ownership using outside brokers.
• Prepare necessary reports
• Negotiate oil and gas leases and various other agreements
• Perform due diligence required in purchase and sale transactions
• Identify title defects and obtain necessary curative documents
• Develop a solid working relationship with engineers, G&G, Land personnel within Company
• Regularly presents business recommendations to senior management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience specifically in Alaska is required.
• Experience in: Negotiation and preparation of certain agreements such as Well Participation Agreements, Joint Venture Arrangments, Joint Operating Agreements, Seismic Options, Farmouts, Confidentiality Agreements, and Joint Bidding Arrangements.
• Must have knowledge of Unitization and establishing units in the region.
• Must have Extensive file research, due diligence and permitting responsibilities
• Must have ability to Ready wells for Drilling
