Revenue and Production Accounting Manager

Houston based E&P seeking a Revenue and Production Accounting manager, who will report directly to the controller as well as  manage the Revenue and Accounting departments with staff support. The Candidate must be degreed, MBA, CPA a plus as well as  have 12  years E&P experience,  approximately 6 years  managing at least 4-6 people,excellent communication skills, and a proficient user of mid- sized accounting packages such as Artesia, Enertia, Excalibur and Bolo.

This position will insure department meets monthly and annual deadlines,coordinate the implementation and integration of Enertia production accounting system with Enertia revenue accounting.  Monitor timely and accurate royalty and tax payments, insures department maintains reconciliation of accounts, up to date payout status and proper tax rates and filings, prioritize projects, insures adherence to COPAS , GAAP and all regulatory requirements within each job function. Responsible for regulatory requirements within each job function and coordinate Revenue related year end audit requests.
