Client is looking for the services of senior personnel to join their organization as:

JOB DESCRIPTION:-
To provide the highest level of RE technical input to meet the sub-surface requirements in ABC India, and in particular:

(i) To provide high level technical Petroleum and Reservoir engineering advice to Assets and to ABC management
(ii) To ensure high standards of RE/PE in ABC  through independent work and mentoring/motivation/development and through
     adequate QA/QC.
(iii) To provide input to HoDd - Reservoir and G&G for appropriate resourcing of Asset activities in ABC. Work with other sub-
       surace teams on short term consulting resource requirements as needed.
(iv)  To ensure accurate production profiing, reserve estimation and reporting and responsible for all subsurface technical work in
      Assets under your responsibility
(v) Conduct studies for asset sub-surface teams when commissioned to do so by Dir - Res. Dev. An extra technical resource in
     the company.

Field Development Planning
To contribute to Field Development Planning, specifically by leading the technical team to deliver.

Resource Planning
Provide input to management on staffing requirements, specifically with respect to technical capabilities filled/needed. Participation in recruitment, appraisal, training. Mentoring. Have the ability to use consultancy contracts to conduct work independently as well as in support of sub-surface teams, in Cairn India - for specific projects or short term resource requirement

QA/QC of Sub-surface work programs
Work with HoD - RM and HoD-G&G to ensure that technical work is done to high standards in respective Asset.
Facilitate the planning and execution of work by sub-surface team.  Work with other functional managers to ensure tight integration

Experience and Skill Sets Required:
A relevant post-graduate qualification in Engineering (Pet Engg preferred).
A minimum of 12 years relevant Petroleum Engineering experience in an upstream oil industry handling jobs with an oil company or an independent E & P company. Overseas experience is preferable, and also in-field exposure as well as office based.

The candidate can remain technical and progress into Senior Advisor/Expert roles with increased technical authority and  
         responsibilities within the existing domain
On the technical ladder there will be additional opportunities to move into broader development or more specialist
        geological-engineering roles
On the management ladder, as business opportunities arise, team leader or function leadership roles may be appropriate.
