Savanna is currently seeking to fill a MOTORHAND position based out of our field location in Plentywood, Montana.  This position reports to the driller and is responsible for maintaining the engines and pumps and assists with drill pipe. The schedule rotates 28 days on/14 days off. Catered camp provided.    

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining the engines that power the drilling equipment
• Effectively operating the draw-works
• Effectively operating the boilers
• Aiding in the effective circulation of the drilling fluid
• Assist with rigging up and rigging down
• Provide training and mentoring to junior crew members

Qualified candidates require:

• One to two years prior experience as a motor hand
• Must be able to provide own transportation
• Current safety certifications
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and physical screening
