Job Description:
Responsible for verification and confirmation of Contractor QA/QC activities performed at various equipment suppliers in accordance with contractual agreements. Monitor, evaluate, report Contractor and Supplier performance through inspection, audits, inspection report and documentation review. Participate in Project Team meetings with Contractor and provide review and input to quality and inspection and test plans. Participate in Supplier pre production meetings and manage Project QC Representatives performing inspection activities at Supplier locations. Acts as primary contact for Topsides and Subsea Installation Contractor QA/QC communications, and support equipment acceptance activities dealing with this scope. Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities as needed.
Education: University degree in engineering or technical equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years QA/QC experience or a high school diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in facility equipment QA/QC.
Experience: • Minimim of eight (8) years experience directly related to field supervision of facility equipment activities in the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects • Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English. 10+ years experience in Quality Management aspects of facility equipment manufacturing and testing including quality plan and inspection test plan development, non-conformance reporting and review, supplier oversight. Knowledgeable in manufacturing, testing and fabrication associated with packaged equipment including structural and pressure vessel fabrication, pressure piping, line pipe, instrumentation and electrical equipment items. Must be able to effectively interpret and communicate technical issues to Project Team and Vendor QA/Technical groups.
Preferred Skills: Facility Equipment QA/QC
Certification: Certification in applicable industry and international standards such as AWS, ASNT, API, ASME, ASQ
