Senior Process Simulation Engineer

Senior Process Simulation Engineer required for a leading Consultancy based in Guildford. This consultancy are leaders in development and delivery of dynamic process simulation, including multiphase flow assurance for the global upstream and gas industry. Over the past 25 years, the company has produced over 300 dynamic simulator studies, 100 customised operator training simulators and 40 production management systems

The Senior Process Simulation Engineer is important in that it plays a pivotal role in the development of new business opportunities in the simulation business unit. You will:

• Execute hands on process simulation studies towards customers
• Lead local team of engineers with support from Mumbai office to execute studies and projects using dynamic simulation tools
• Develop strong relationships with our customers based on technical expertise
• Through a strong understanding of the customer's value chain, identify business opportunities, and assist with selling the value proposition
• Work closely with our global simulation sales teams to develop solutions/products/offerings.

You will have / be:

• Recognised experience and understanding of conceptual studies/FEED/EPC and operational phases of field development projects
• Highly competent in dynamic simulation modelling of upstream oil & gas processes
• Experience with current flow assurance tools is highly desirable
• Educated to degree level with experience in process engineering relating to upstream oil & gas
• Familiar and confident with customer interactions, presentations and talks.
• Familiar with industry standards/procedures and associations
