Job Description:

BridgeLine Services, Inc. is a managed recruiting services firm currently working with a leader in the Geophysical community whose charter is to provide advanced interpretation solutions to the Oil, Gas and Mining industries to better determine exploration, leasing or drilling prospects for their clients.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Exploration Geophysicist. This is a key leadership and mentoring role within the company as well as an integral part of the business model. We are looking for individuals who can drive success and client satisfaction in a highly visible position and want to be part of the growth and future development of the company.

A top candidate will have extensive interpretation expertise working with multiple datasets in diverse basins, the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of public settings (clients, conferences, speaking engagements, etc.) as well as interpretation software expertise.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Geology or Geophysics
  • 10+ years experience in a senior exploration role
  • Experience in field operations and acquisition and understanding of hydrocarbon/mineral geologic systems
  • Excellent computer skills, including working with 2D and 3D interpretation software such as Geosoft, ENVI, Petrel, GoCad, Petra, etc.
  • Experience creating accurate data intensive 2D and 3D geophysical models
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels


The preferred location for this position is Denver, CO; although, Houston, TX and San Francisco, CA are other available locations.
