Base Oil Section Head

Major Operator seeks to recruit a Base Oil Section Head. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and is offered on a permanent basis.

The Base Oil Section head Supervises and controls operations of Base/Lube Oil plant consisting of vacuum unit, Hydro isomerisation unit, Product Distillation unit, PSA and auxiliary units to produce environmental friendly refined value added predetermined quantities of specified lube oil products meeting divisional objectives for the plant, Reviews operating parameters and plant conditions in continual bases, modifies them as per company?s procedures, troubleshoots plant problems and handles plant emergencies to ensure that the plants are operated safely and efficiently, Initiates and review plant improvement, modifications and operating / capital budget proposals in line with the best operating practices and industry trends, Monitors the training function in the department to achieve predetermined nationalization targets implements the CBT program and ensures that the HSEMS system is fully implemented in his area.

It is an essential requirement for the candidate to hold a BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, have previous experience in refinery/gas processing operations and have full knowledge of DCS operations and refinery diversified equipments.
