We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer, who is a specialist in Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) plants, for the Jazan Refinery and Terminal Projects (JZR&T) in Saudi Arabia.
Minimum Requirements
You will require a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 9 years of experience in the oil and gas field or a similar process industry. This experience should include significant exposure to the maintenance and support of IGCC. In addition, you will need to demonstrate prior experience in an engineering management role in a mega-project.
You will also have experience with technology and innovation activities related to IGCC, and have an in-depth understanding of IGCC mechanical and material issues, inspection and design codes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish and coordinate all engineering matters in relation to IGCC with licensors, contractors and Saudi Aramco engineering organizations.
New units in the IGCC will come with their own impact on Saudi Aramco standards. These will need to be identified and remedied in coordination with relevant Saudi Aramco engineering organizations.
Provide engineering based expertise to the proponent team in the areas of mechanical engineering, rotating equipment, automation, reliability, area electrical and inspection.
Develop a total QA/QC program to ensure equipment, systems and instrumentation comply with project requirements.
