Skill Requirements:
Geophysicist with a broad range of experience gained from working for an Operator in many of the following areas: frontier exploration, appraisal, field development planning and mature field redevelopment.
Advanced seismic interpretation skills (preferably using Landmark, Geoframe or Kingdom software).
Sound understanding of seismic attribute analysis and the application of such techniques to prospect risk assessment and reservoir characterisation.
Extensive experience of depth conversion methodologies and workflows.
Although seismic processing is not be part of GCA's business stream the applicant will be expected to be conversant with industry standard seismic processing techniques and able to give guidance to clients and colleagues on such matters.
Ability to work independently, and deliver as part of a team.
Strong understanding of all aspects of petroleum geosciences, including reservoir modeling, petrophysical analysis and reservoir engineering principles. ? Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Capable of travel flexibility.
Education:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or equivalent.
