Subsea Controls Engineer

Hays Oil and Gas have been selected to work on a Subsea Systems Controls Engineer position for an established subsea consultancy.

You would be responsible for ensuring that the user requirements are integrated into the design of topside, trees and subsea distribution, High - integrity pressure protection systems, subsea manifold and flow line connection equipment.

The successful Subsea Systems Controls Engineer will have the following qualifications & expertise:
  
•  B.S. or M.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
•  Over 5 years related experience with subsea projects with equipment used for subsea distribution and production as well as topside controls.
•  Extensive knowledge of subsea trees, manifolds, jumpers, connection systems, subsea products would be favourable.
•  Provide analysis of quotations and sales orders to determine technical and economic feasibility.
•  Prepares contractual technical documentary requirements, assures establishment and maintenance of technical document file.
•  Provide technical direction in product modification or design changes to project team.
•  Supporting the systems/project team as well as the package engineers.
