For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a:

FPSO Technical Manager

Reference N°: 270712FPSAN

Duration: 12 months Renewable

Rotations: Resident

Mobilization: ASAP

Location: Paris for the Basic engineering (duration 12-18 months) then transfer to Angola

Level of experience: 8 to 10 years


Missions:

•To assist the Package Manager with all Technical points during Detail Engineering, Construction and Installation phases of the modules and loose items in Pazflor FPSO.
•To remain within the agreed budget, schedule and HSE objectives for the completion of Statement of Requirements


Activities:

•During Basic Engineering and CFT phase:
•Review and assist to coordinate comments to basic engineering documents
•Assist Package Manager to prepare technical information/ answer tech qualifications and negotiate contracts in accordance with project plan
•Full involvement on preparation of technical part of the FPSO Modif. CFT dossier.
•During EPC phase:
•To manage and control Contractors Engineering achievements in accordance with contractual requirements, technical requirements, costs and planning including the following:
•Manage the technical documentation review-approval process
•Expedite external/internal interfaces in relation with discipline lead Engineers and the Interface Coordinator
•Assess the technical contents (Engineering impact) of any Change Order.
•To deliver the engineering documents with the required quality considering planning constraints, including safety point of view (during fabrication/installation and future operation)
•To develop, implement and manage engineering teams and organisations highly motivated and works diligently to meet the project objectives
•To keep informed the Package Manager of engineering progress, main events and decisions including any technical issues related to qualification, interfaces, Technical queries, derogations that may have an impact on the overall schedule
•To assist Fabrication team with Technical issues
•To deputize the FPSO Modif Manager as and when required

Observations on Activities and Missions:

Based in Paris during Basic Engineering / pre-award Phase, relocation to Luanda and/or EPC offices in Angola

The work will probably be distributed in Europe and Angola which will lead to a complex project management.

The sound management of the local content part of the work will be a key factor of the success for this project.

Frequent missions are to be anticipated.
