Position located in Luba Freeport - Luba, Equatorial Guinea. Rotation - 28/28 (28 days on and 28 days off).
Duties and Responsibilities
•Secure the warehouse at all times and restricts access to non-authorized personnel. On call 24/7.
•Receive materials into the warehouse and remote location stock; apply Oracle Item Master number , well and AFE numbers to each component
•Liaise with department heads in the preparation of materials requirements for all parts and equipment - focus on forecast planning to minimize urgent orders and inefficient transport moves.
• Forward accurate records of received and outstanding requisitions and cargo manifests to Luba Base Material Manager.
• Communicate that adequate stock levels of equipment, spares and consumables are maintained so as to facilitate the continuous operation of the unit
•Prepare periodic reports for the Drilling Manager and Luba Base Material Manager as required
•Perform inventory cycle count of stock as required and maintain and preserve the physical inventory in the warehouse and remote locations
• Communicate to Luba Base Material Manager regularly the identification of obsolete and surplus material.
•Prepare manifest for all equipment dispatched to the rig either by sea or air. Coordinate movement of material and equipment with Operations Logistics Manager
•Check for discrepancies in materials received against delivery notes and outward manifest. Issue OS&D (Over, Short or Damaged) report for incorrect items
•Assist in the manifesting and control of contractor equipment as required
•Assist department heads and Luba Base Material Manager in establishing a realistic minimum/maximum warehouse stock of all shut down or critical items
•Ensure all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes are correctly labeled and packaged, accompanied by MSDS and manifested to either K5 or Champion yard as required, in a timely manner
•Carry out assigned duties in a safe manner according to Company policies and procedures
•Actively participate in the weekly meetings, daily tool box talks and all other Company safety management systems
•Be a team player must be able to operate under pressure. Good at communicating both written and orally.
•Report any incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations to immediately
•Respond to emergency situations as required by ERP
•Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping of warehouse area is maintained at a suitable standard
•Meets the training requirements as per the applicable training matrix
•Mentor, develop and cross train team members to ensure they are competent to work at their next job level.
•Promote and maintain an effective working relationship and communication with all departments, and vendors
•Assist in development of annual performance appraisal for team members.
• English a must and Spanish a definite plus.
