Senior Subsea Engineer - Shore Based - Houston (GP90981)

Change International are currently recruiting for a Senior Subsea Engineer to work shore based in Houston.  This role is for a large drilling contractor and will be based in the Gulf of Mexico, for this reason, only US Nationals will be considered.

The role itself is an exciting opportunity for an experience senior subsea engineer with 6 years + experience to take the next step in their career.  You will be supervising a team of subsea staff based in the office but moving between rigs to assist with any BOP related activities as well as training and mentoring the staff under your supervision. This IS a ROTATIONAL role.

Essential Experience:

Minimum of 6 Years experience as a Senior Subsea Engineer
Minimum of 10 Years in the subsea department.
MUX experience is essential
Experience of supervising and training staff
Excellent communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot BOP related issues, assist with subsea teams on board and recognise any practices which could be improved.

Because this role is based in Houston but involved solely in the GOM rig activities.
