This company is a world?-leader in FPSOs. They require an Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, based onshore, for their team in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for maintaining the availability of all electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems to support production targets for an FPSO in the North Sea (UK Continental Shelf). You will be the onshore point of contact for the provision of support and technical solutions to all E&I issues.
Responsibilities will include:
- Daily E&I support to the operations team, onshore and offshore staff
- Develop, plan and coordinate response to all E&I and other related operational issues
- Assist with reviewing and follow up use of operational procedures, systems and processes
- Define, review and assist in processing modification
- Co-ordinate all contact with relevant vendors/subcontractors
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of E & I systems usually found on FPSOs - ideally you have experience in working offshore on a floating production installation OR have held a similar role with an FPSO operator/duty holder
- Familiarity with the regulatory requirements for offshore installations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or substantial relevant experience
