Desk/Support Technical Engineer - CT Basra

My client is a regional Oilfield service company; they have large operations in Basra. They are urgently looking for Desk/Support Technical Engineer -
Coiled Tubing Services to join them immediately for a long term project on 5/5 rotation in Basra.

Job Summary:

Provides technical support to clients and operations personnel to maintain up-to-date technology on Company products and services. This included but not limited to understand client organization and business drivers, competitors information and use of marketing tools ,


Responsibilities:

1. Optimizes opportunities for each well performance to meet Company objectives and client needs. Prepares job recommendations, including the pricing of products and services for clients as necessary.  
2. Main focal point of Matrix Stimulation design
3. Understand client organization, including rig movement,  field, production target and challenges for clients
4. Owner of the Jobs peer review process to meet client requirement
5. Implement Job design work flow and encourage location Best Practice submission
6. Evaluates well/job performance and maintain working database.
7. Provides technical training and support to sales force on existing and new Company products and services.
8. Actively involve in the operations pertaining to job safety, risk, SQ issues and improvement area
9. Technical Visibility. The DTE must keep current on job-related technology by self study and by attending Company training programs. Also presents client seminars on existing and new Company technology and SQM Seminars for operations personnel.
10. Maintains social contact with appropriate client personnel to maintain and develop positive client relations.  
11. Operational skills development. Replaces Field Service Manager at District level during periods of planned and unplanned absences.
12. QHSE. Attends safety and operational improvement meetings to promote Company policy and improve client relations
13. Competitions monitoring. DTE is responsible in monitoring our competitors activity and strategy
