PMC Area Manager: Topsides

Our client is one of the leading EPC and engineering consulting companies in the world. They are now recruiting for their team to do PMC on a major new upstream development. The client company is in Europe, but you will be required to move with the project into contractors' offices.

Your role as Area Manager will be responsible for the successful management and completion of works in a specific Offshore Platform/Package/Structure in terms of Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, HSE and Integrity requirements.

• You should possess high professional competence and management skills to motivate the team to achieve high quality performance during the project execution.
• You should be assertive and firm in dealing with EPC contractor while exercising absolute control on the work.
• You should be able to effectively coordinate with Team Leaders, Program Manager to ensure consistency and uniformity in project management and reporting.
• All applicants should hold a degree in Engineering, preferably with an advanced degree in Business Administration or Project / Program Management.
• You must also be able to show a significant track record in industry, including project management experience for major oil & gas projects.
• Your experience should include work in a consulting capacity (e.g. PMC / PMT) in a similar position.
• Specific experience in the Middle East for renowned clients is preferable.
• Should possess coordination/communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
