Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for a Production Geologist.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide petroleum engineering technical analyses and recommendations to New Ventures Business Development (NVBD) and Exploration teams within the Onshore business unit.
  • Routine interaction with customers, Unconventional Gas Center of Excellence, development teams, and other staff within Early Maturation will be required.
  • Responsible for petroleum engineering assessments to support corporate purchase, business development and / or Exploration and early development efforts.
  • Provide support in the area of unconventional gas field trials, studies, and development planning, and to safely execute the production geology operations of the drilling program.
  • Coordinating activities between drilling engineering, the mudloggers, and the field development planning team
  • Deliver Exploration / Appraisal / Early Development Wells
  • Deliver Timely Lease Line Offset Wells
  • Document Well Results & Learnings
  • Support Rig Start-ups
  • AFE - Permitting - Planning
  • Integrate well work with urban plan

Essentials:

  • Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Please upload a copy of all required certifications and training
  • Technical industry experience in related area preferred (i.e. unconventional gas/liquids rich shale, carbonates)
  • Background / experience in applicable engineering methodologies / techniques
  • Ability to make and communicate well-founded decisions
  • Ability to communicate technical analysis effectively to management and technical professionals
  • Working effectively within teams to quickly identify key project risks & develop project evaluation analyses for investment decisions
  • Remaining flexible in the fast-paced onshore program while ensuring prudent technical credibility and review
