Senior Reservoir Engineering Advisor

Our Client - A leading National Oil Company in the Middle East.

Job Description -

We require someone to be the company expert in reservoir modelling, simulation, reservoir management and other special reservoir studies.
You will guide and provide expert advice to Senior Management on all current R&D activities, and also make recommendations for change on future R&D, including identifying and recommending EOR programmes and project research which can be applied to reservoirs in the Middle East.
The Middle East has unusual topography, so someone with experience of working in the region will be at an advantage, although this is not essential.
You will examine various study reports and recommend actions/processes/techniques to improve the FDPs and data-gathering programmes.
You will be part of the task-force and will attend regular meetings and make presentations to staff and stakeholders, again advising on reservoir modelling and simulation, software updates, R&D, reservoir technology and hydrocarbon reserves.
You will also lead peer reviews and ensure bast-practice knowledge transfer and learning.
You will also provide guidance to Senior Management about how best to implement training programmes to National Reservoir Engineers.

Candidate Requirements -

Excellent degree, ideally PhD qualified in Petroleum Engineering.
15 years+ experience in different disciplines of Petroleum Engineering including 10 years in development and 5 years in mentoring/coaching.
Excellent English and Arabic language skills.
