|
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the orders, revenue, profits and development of all US sales personnel with TFI. They will have direct responsibility for orders and oversight responsibility for the product line performance. She/he will constantly be appraising performance to plan, and client imposed deadlines. He/she will strive for service excellence.
- Directs his business activities to meet or exceed key performance metrics
- Assures achievement of financial, business and strategic business performance
- Responsible to oversee development of sales and marketing goals, strategies and tactics to grow the business, market share and revenue to meet or exceed the long-term business plan
- Directs and participates to gain the development of key customer relationships
- Oversees the development of sales prospect list, plan, and status update
- Plans future client growth
- Oversees the sales and marketing activities in his area in order to promote customer relationships
- Prepares detailed plans and budgets for his area of responsibility, monitors costs to insure compliance with agreed budgets
- Maintains qualified personnel in sales force
- Meets with customers and suppliers as needed, and present the company to new markets
- Supervises budget preparation and updates
- Monitors and ensures compliance with Quality plans to ensure efficient execution of company responsibilities
- Responsible for cost control for travel, entertainment, and sales activities
- Responsible for controlling indirect costs in area of responsibility
- Works with human resources and safety to assure that staffs have updated safety and professional and functional training, and have the proper paperwork and documentation
- Guides and directs employees as needed
- Provides timely performance reviews for subordinates
