Senior Reservoir Engineer - New Developments, Norway

I have a new position come to light for a Senior Reservoir Engineer based in Stavanger. My client is a European mid-sized operator who has established itself significantly in the Norwegian market and is now one of the largest licensees in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. They have also been part of some of the biggest and most exciting discoveries in the Norwegian and Barents Seas.

The client in question is looking for an experienced Reservoir Engineer to focus on development of both existing and new fields. They are looking for a technically focussed Reservoir Engineer with a strong technical background who wants to work in some of the most challenging projects in the North Sea.

The candidate will need to be a strong simulator and able to build and update simulation models for new fields as well as updating existing models. As well as this you will be expected to

*Provide support to exploration and prospect evaluations
*Support all business development activities and be an active part of growing the business.
*Participate in reservoir management and well planning
*Reserves booking
*Provide technical input into field development planning
*Represent the client at license meetings.
*You will need an understanding of all industry standard software.
