Job Description:


SUMMARY:  

Responsible for seismic reservoir characterization projects, including but not limited to seismic data conditioning, seismic/well tie and wavelet extraction, impedance inversion, AVO inversion, interpretation of pay signatures and volume visualization. Projects can be in conventional or unconventional reservoirs. The geophysical technologies would include both seismic and electromagnetics methods. Primary focus would be in seismic data and/or integration of seismic and CSEM/MT data.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  

  •  2 years experience in seismic impedance inversion and AVO analysis
  •  Knowledge and experience with inversion software
  •  Some exposure to rock physics principles and models
  •  Ability to document work process and adhere to project timelines
  •  Experience with anisotropy determination from full-azimuth data
  •  Effective communicator. Good oral and written skills.


MUST be Canadian Citizen, US Citizen or US Permanent Resident to qualify.
